Step by step
Install your sign
Position the template
Tape the full-size template to the wall at the approved height. Check its centre line and baseline with a spirit level.
Mark every point
Mark the fixing holes and cable exits shown on the template. Confirm the layout against the technical drawing.
Prepare the wall
Check for hidden services, then drill the fixing and cable points with tools and fixings suitable for the wall construction.
Mount each component
Follow the template labels and install each letter or logo piece in its correct position. Keep cables accessible for connection.
Connect and test
Ask a qualified electrician to complete the electrical connections, test the installation and confirm the halo illumination is even.
Important: Hardwired electrical work must be completed by a qualified electrician. Use a professional sign installer for high-level, exterior, large or heavy signage.
Common questions
Need to check something?
Why does the halo look uneven?
Check that every component sits at the specified distance from the wall and that no cable or fixing prevents it sitting squarely.
Can this be installed outdoors?
Only if your order and technical drawing specify an exterior-rated sign. Exterior installation and weatherproof electrical connections should be completed by suitable professionals.
