How to install metal letters & plaques
Use the supplied template and fixing method to position non-illuminated metal letters, logos or plaques.
What you’ll need
Installation template
Masking tape
Tape measure and spirit level
Drill and suitable drill bits
Specified adhesive, where required

Specified studs, spacers or fixings
Check the fixing method supplied with your order. Dry-position every component before using any permanent adhesive.
Step by step
Install your sign
Position the template
Align the full-size template at the chosen height and secure it with masking tape. Check the baseline with a spirit level.
Mark each fixing
Transfer every stud, spacer or screw point through the template and check the complete layout before drilling.
Prepare the holes
Check for hidden services, drill to the specified diameter and depth, then clean dust from each hole.
Test-fit the sign
Place each letter, logo component or plaque into position without permanent adhesive and confirm the alignment.
Secure and finish
Apply the specified fixing or adhesive method, secure each component and remove the template and protective film.
Important: Use fixings and adhesives specified for the product and wall. Exterior, overhead, large or heavy signage should be fitted by an experienced sign installer.

Need to check something?
Should I use adhesive as well as studs?
Only use the fixing combination specified with your sign. The appropriate method depends on the product, weight, wall and whether the installation is indoors or outdoors.
How do I protect the metal finish?
Keep protective film on during installation where possible. Avoid metal tools touching finished faces and follow the care guidance supplied for painted, brushed or polished finishes.
